| I was talking to a friend who insists that one can gain around 2lbs per week of quality weight on the right training and cycles. Do you think one could really gain 40lbs. of muscle in 6 months? Explain. |

Definiately not lean muscle gains, most will be water and fat,a very small percentage of muscle,
Muscle doesnt grow overnight, takes months, even with steroids it takes quite long to build quality muscle. |

| I put on more than that in 2 months time, but was so bloated it was unbelievable, I did lots of anadrol and suspension and it was definitley not "quality" muscle...like previously said it takes years of building up and dieting down to get quality. |

| If it's possible, I haven't done it or heard of anyone who has... That being said, I'd love for you to prove me wrong... but that's something I would have to see to believe... |

| Don't quote me on this, cause its been a while since I saw the show, but doesn't Dorian Yates at the beginning of Blood and Guts mention that he gained 70lbs of muscle over 13 years of bodybuilding? If so I really doubt anyones going to be putting on 1/2 Yates muscle quality in less than a year. |

BULLSHIT. Im looking around and Im not seeing it.
Like someone said above, I'd have to see it to believe it.
My bet is its biologically impossible for a human to add 40 lbs of pure muscle in 6 months. |

| Well, a lot of bodybuilders are gaining then cutting, cyclical training goals year in and year out. I am talking about pure power and bulk training, eat the house down, and juice year-round all-out. What do you think? I am gonna try! |

Well, now your being inconsistent. In your original post you used the word "quality". Everyone here is going to assume your referring to pure muscle.
I think it would be helpful if you posted all the essentials...age, stats, training history, cycle history etc.
Considering your rather inexperienced inquiry, since you didn't even mention diet, it sounds like you are rather new to gear. Tell me if Im wrong.
But if Im right, then I think your an idiot if your interested in juicing "year-round, all-out" in an attempt to put on 40 lbs in a situation that sounds an awful lot like a silly bet between two friends. |

| Heh, I'm 28, 5'11", 270, started lifting weights regularly with good instruction when I was 11. So I have been training for 19 years and done 3 juice cycles (3 months, 6 months and 6 months) since 2004. I mainly focused on powerlifting and my friend has focused on bodybuilding. At his best, he was 260lbs around the same height as me, and leaner. I wondered if I would ever hit 300 and he said with insulin, a heavy cycle, and enough food I could do it this year. I was skeptical but I want to try lol. I usually train 2 times a day, 4 or 5 days a week, once in the morning and once in the evening. |

If your already that size, adding a quick 40 even lets say its 50:50 muscle to fat in six months, thats alot of weight on an already large frame. Don't forget, your heart is a muscle too. That is gonna put some serious stress on the ol ticker, and that is just on weight gain. Let alone what kind of juice your talkin about doin..
Six months still seems far out of reach to me. If you said a yr, then I might be willing to believe it. But were still talking pure muscle right? I mean thats a full plate of muscle. Just doesnt seem possible, regardless of what kind of frame were talkin about. |

Hi,
If you are taking about gaining 40 pounds of gain in 6 months is possible but not by taking the steroids. Steroids help you to gain the size of the muscles, but for increasing the weigh you have to concentrate on the food that you take. _________________ Acai |
